A giclée (fine art) copy of a collagraph, inspired by my favourite parts of Nottingham. After having lived there for 4 years whilst at University, I really fell in love with the city and it's vibrant creative and independent scene.
 
What is Intaglio Collagraph? It is a cost-effective technique which essentially just requires a scalpel and a sheet of mount-board. You score into mount-board allowing you to be very detailed, you can also peel back the top layer of the board on certain segments that you wish the ink to cling to most.
 
What is giclée? A fine art digital printing process combining pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper to achieve an inkjet print of superior archival quality, light fastness and stability.
 
A4- The size of the central print is roughly H:25 x W:18cm and the overall paper size measures approximately 29.7 x 21cm including artists signature.
 
A3- The size of the central print is roughly H:33 x W:24cm and the overall paper size measures approximately 42 x 30cm including artists signature, the paper size is A3.
 
The print is on high quality 350gsm acid free watercolour paper and is hand signed.
 
Limited edition print, signed by myself (the artist) and the paper size is tailored to standard frames.
